Job Description 

  • Direct, coordinate, & exercise authority for planning, organizing, control, integration, and completion of D5LE2 Test Missile Kit-2 (TMK2) products ensuring customer contract and company requirements are met through exceptional performance.
  • Coordinate staffing and performance responsibilities, in coordination with HR, other TMK2 leaders, and established processes to meet D5LE2 TMK2 staffing needs.
  • Own cost, schedule, and technical commitments and execution for the TMK2 portion of the LE2 Avionics portfolio.
  • Work closely with a team of Cost Account Manager, Finance & Business Operations, Risk and Opportunity managers, subcontracts managers, and planners within and outside the TMK2 organization.
  • FY28 proposal & Modernization Strategic Planning inputs for TMK2 scope.
  • Closely partnering with the Navy Customers, Avionics teams, and other functions to effectively execute the contracted scope.
  • Serve on the FBM D5LE2 Program Management Team representing TMK2.
  • Ensure that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans.
  • Coordinate the planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of Engineering Test projects within the area of assigned responsibility.
  • Ensure Engineering is coordinated across Program and suppliers.
  • Plan, Prepare and brief Navy customers and other program stakeholders on a monthly and as-needed basis.

Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent experience/combined education.

• Program Management experience on large and complex development programs.

• Demonstrated experience of planning and executing a development program balancing cost, schedule and technical.

• You will need to be a US Citizen and possess a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Desired Skills

  • FBM program (PM) experience and customer interface experience.
  • Prior direct customer interface experience.
  • Test Missile Kit development experience (telemetry, flight termination systems).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain top secret clearance.
  • Subcontract management experience with internal and external suppliers.
  • Strong understanding of Electrical and Systems Engineering.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $205300.00 - $381300.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
