Customer Programs Deputy Program Manager Level 5
This role will support the F-35 Customer Program Greece Country Program Manager across proposal, program start-up, execution, and closure phases. This individual will work collaboratively with the Country Program Manager and Integrated Customer Team to ensure mission success of key customer milestones. The selected candidate should be familiar with leading technical scope and interfacing with the functional subject matter experts to integrate customer requirements seamlessly across Development, Production, and Sustainment Business Units. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying technical and programmatic challenges that flows into solutions to ensure program execution is consistent with program requirements.
Specifics include leading program review sessions with the customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance (PMR, Process Meetings, Working Groups, etc.), coordinating and communicating directly with Customer, JPO, and LM program leadership on behalf of the PM team, ensuring Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) requirements are met and the program stays within cost and schedule commitments, and successful completion of Industrial Development & International Participation projects. This will require leading monthly program performance reviews (including Review of Actuals, Estimate to Complete (ETC), Baseline Change Management, Schedule Management, Risk & Opportunity Management). In this customer-facing role, excellent interpersonal skills as well as strong technical background and program management expertise are required to be successful. This role requires attention to detail, ability to work in data-driven, fast-paced environment, and demonstrated ability to influence others, particularly across functional boundaries.
This individual will help drive resolution to various customer (e.g. Air Force, Ministry of Defense, F-35 Program Office) requirements and schedule commitments. This role will have visibility and moderate international and domestic travel requirements.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or higher or equivalent experience / education
Program Management, Project Engineering, or Project Management Experience
EVMS or CAM Experience
Customer Experience
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple functions
Team leadership Experience.
Familiarity with acquisition and proposal process
Desired Skills
F-35 Program Management or Project Management experience.
Experience working with international customers.
Familiarity with FMS contracting.
Able to think and act strategically and tactically from a broad business perspective.
Ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
Ability to analyze complex data and develop corrective actions.
Application of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) techniques and process requirements.
Experience managing Subcontract Scope via F-35 Supplier Forum and using proper EVMS techniques.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Portfolio integration across production, development, and sustainment lines of business
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $148300.00 - $275500.00
