Standard Job Description

Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.

Basic Qualifications

Demonstrated Strong Business Acumen 

Management experience with program size >$25M and annual sales responsibility >$10M

Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver on P&L commitments

Experience Managing Cross Functional and Decentralized teams.
Relevant Cost Account Management (CAM Experience, Risk Manager, Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience and Risk Based Assessments (RBAs)
Experience in Training Device Development Programs and/or Trainer Modification Programs

Understanding of Program Management and Enterprise Performance Excellence policies and procedures. 
Ability to Travel As Needed

Must be Eligible to Obtain a Secret Security Clearance

Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills

PM Level 1 or Higher Certified 

5-years Program Management or Subcontract Management Experience

Program size >$100M contract value and $25M in annual sales
Experience in Managing Red programs and dynamic, multi-project with interdependent scope

Return-To-Green Experience on one or More Programs.

Experience Growing Programs Through Introduction of New Product/Services, Shaping Requirements.

Experience in Large Scale Development Programs
Experience in Interfacing with USAF / NAVAIR / USCG Customers

Experience with USG Proposals and Firm Fixed Price Contracts

Knowledge of C-130J Aircraft, C-130J training systems and simulator product line architectures

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $120600.00 - $224000.00
