The information below reflects the standard job description for this position:
Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a STEM related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Demonstrated experience utilizing MATLAB for engineering analyses, process modeling, and/or simulations
- Basic knowledge & understanding of engineering systems, e.g., electrical or mechanical assemblies
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance, thus requiring US Citizenship
Desired Skills
- Strong MATLAB skills, developed and applied in both academic and professional projects
- Strong experience working in other programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, R, SQL, etc.)
- Experience, understanding, and application of data visualization, modeling, probabilistic & statistical assessments, and information systems (e.g., Tableau, etc.)
- Experience integrating with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability of working on a team
- Basic experience of project and/or process management skills
- Basic presentation, oral and written skills to facilitate effective and efficient technical and business interchanges with management and customers
- Organization and prioritization skills, including the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills to build & maintain long-lasting relationship
- Active Top Secret security clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $65500.00 - $121700.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
