Standard Job Description

As a Project Engineer with Control Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities for program and work breakdown elements, you will be responsible for cost and schedule performance of projects and programs within the Next Generation Geospatial (NGG) portfolio. You will have ownership of all activities from baselining through delivery and reporting. The candidate will work closely with Program Planning, Finance, IPT leads, Program Managers, Product Managers, and Engineering managers to understand and clearly communicate program performance.

In this role will offer you the following daily key responsibilities:

  • Manage Technical, Cost and Schedule execution for selected projects(s), with a focus on meeting delivery commitment dates and budget targets.
  • Developing a baseline plan and managing overall execution of support organizations required to ensure program execution success, such as Supplier Management Operations, Engineering, Finance and Planning.
  • Supporting the overall programmatic business rhythm for baseline management, monthly reporting, status and communication, and overall Earned Value Management (EVM) performance of your span of control. This can include generation of monthly VARs.
  • Reporting and briefing to the program/project leadership at recurring reviews within the program business rhythm.
  • Resolving programmatic challenges within your scope and establishing risk mitigation activities.
  • Promote an environment of continuous improvement and digital transformation within your responsible program scope as well as for the Titusville CAM community.

Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.

Basic Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in driving complex issues or problems to successful closure.
  • 3+ years experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) experience, including but not limited to Earned Value Management tracking, reporting or Variance Analysis writing or similar equivalent experience 
  • 3+ years experience in MS Office, Project/OpenPlan/other scheduling tool.
  • Strong interest in using AI tools as thought companion and tool for gaining efficiency.
  • Proven ability to use data insights to drive savvy business decisions.
  • Proven ability to create and communicate performance metrics across a wide audience.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Finance, Economics, or a STEM field.
  • US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD Top Secret clearance.

Desired Skills

  • Lockheed Martin Control Account Manager certification or PMI/PMP Certification 
  • Experience using Jira or other Agile tool for tracking work progress.
  • Previous Basis of Estimate (BOE) generation experience. 
  • Risk and Opportunity Management development and tracking experience

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
