Standard Job Description

Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.

Selected candidate will join the IFG Displays Hardware team and serve as a Control Account Manager (CAM) addressing all functions of cost management on the team. 

This candidate will establish and monitor program budgets, track and reconcile costs, track program funding requirements, conduct cost analysis, and develop variance explanations and recommendations for corrective actions as required. The candidate will prepare monthly and quarterly cost reports, and prepare and analyze quarterly estimates at completions (EACs). The candidate will maintain the Earned Value (EV) system and associated logs as needed. The candidate will also assist the program team and financial management in monitoring and tracking program expenditures, highlight issues/concerns/trends to the program team, and ensure that program financial commitments are met. The candidate will interact with a variety of program and financial management personnel and ensure conformance with company and program processes and procedures. The candidate will also open and close charge numbers in a timely fashion, research and prepare cost transfers as required, and prepare completed
contracts for closeout. The candidate will also support proposals developing Basis of Estimates in support of new contracts. This position requires working closely with Management and Engineers to understand the capability being developed and roadmaps for each capability throughout the hardware/software development lifecycle.

The successful candidate will use the complete CAM toolset to gather cost and budget data. The candidate will ensure the team follows all tenants of the LM Aero EVMS processes as defined within the IFG Programs. The candidate will participate in all required reviews and audits with the customer, government, DCMA, etc. 

Additionally, the candidate will work closely with all levels of personnel within the IFG Displays Hardware team, other functional departments, programs, and government personnel in capturing the financial data required to provide accurate financial and schedule and staffing report. The candidate will support Management and Senior Management with accurate staffing analysis and staffing assignments using EV tools, Tableau Dashboard and VEMO. The candidate is expected to be a team player willing to support and communicate with a diverse group of teammates. ***Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and an Interim Secret clearance to start.***

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
- Experience in LM Aero Earned Valued Management, metrics and process management or proven experience in areas of cost analysis, schedule, and risk and opportunity management
- CAM training and be familiar with the CAM toolset or similar tools
- Proficiency with MS Office products (Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00
