Standard Job Description
Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
The Selected individual will develop, modify and maintain Quality of Design Evaluation methods, control systems and protocols in support of Original Design BTP Releases.
The Selected individual will data mine all Design process feedback sources to pareto the data and isolate recurrent Design problems. Once recurring Design issues are identified, the selected individual will evaluate our training documentation and methods and update as needed to eliminate repetitive issues will be evaluated to be updated to ensure repetitive issues are eliminated. Team and Individual training are expected to occur on a regular tempo to reinforce quality of design standards. Quality of Design metrics will be developed & maintained to track team improvement.
A successful candidate will be self-starter and detail orientated with the ability Data-mine, Analyze Data, Metrics development, Process and Training Development. Soft skills is a must because the candidate will be giving feedback to designers to improve our Quality.
Basic Qualifications
*Bachelor’s or above Degree from an accredited college in a related engineering discipline.
*Must be a US Citizen with active secret security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
*Experience with Engineering Desing Process and Procedures
Desired Skills
*Experience working IFG or similar programs. Knowledge of aircraft design, assembly, and product support.
*Experience with Continuous Improvement Methods
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
