Come work with multidisciplinary teammates focused on delivering world class Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) for the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program. As the Project Engineering Manager, you will work closely with other managers, program leads, planners, engineers, and other personnel to identify, plan, and execute resource allocation to support programs and the project management solutions team to produce MGSE. As a leader, you will directly and indirectly support the execution of multiple projects and manage a growing team of Project Engineers which have direct cost, execution, and schedule oversight of projects.
Job responsibilities include:
• Lead the Project Engineering team to enable relentless execution throughout a portfolio of 50+ projects.
• Mentor your team through a growth period while continuing to deliver on our commitments.
• Oversee Control Account Manager (CAM) activities for the portfolio.
• Interact with a multi-discipline team to resolve production problems and support on-site production of MGSE, occasional (up to 25%) travel required.
• Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition.
• Responsible for ensuring that compliance tasks are completed in a timely manner and teaching and enforcing processes and procedures.
• Responsible for development and implementation of talent and capability roadmaps for the organization.
• Assesses employee performance and conducts performance reviews, recognition/award activities, career discussions and disciplinary actions if needed.
• Review, approval and audit of time charges, audit and approval of travel and expense reports, address personnel issues, and report status to management.
Basic Qualifications
- The qualified candidate will have or be able to:
- Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Demonstrated team leadership and/or prior L-code management experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite especially Project, Outlook, Word, and Excel
Capable of working under general supervision based on guidance and direction provided by Sr. Manager - Prior project management experience.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), Control Account Manager (CAM)
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, interfacing with internal/external customers.
- Ability to obtain a DOD TS Clearance.
- Demonstrated experience in driving complex issues or problems to successful closure.
- Demonstrate the Full Spectrum Leadership imperatives
- Demonstrated experience supporting or leading proposals
- Demonstrated strong communication skills in team environment (verbal, written, and presentation)
- Demonstrated ability to plan, propose, and manage organizational budgets and schedules
- Demonstrated experience in the direct participation or leading of a team through reviews related to Project Engineering tasking
Desired Skills
- LM CAM Certified
- Engineering degree
- Knowledge and experience from working on FBM or with US Navy.
- DoD Top-Secret security clearance
- Risk and Opportunity Management experience
- General technical knowledge of Mechanical Ground Support Equipment
- Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
