You will be the Production Operations Project Manager of a Rotary Wing Sensors (RWS) program, within the Sensors and Global Sustainment Line of Business. Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality products to our customers, meeting quality, cost, and schedule commitments, and driving operational excellence across 4 primary programs - Apache MTADS, Apache FCR, VBK, and TSS.

Standard Job Description:  Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

What You Will Be Doing
As as a part of the Production Operations project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operational aspects of production, serving as a liaison between program management, cross-functional teams, and factory leadership.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Coordinating daily priorities and executing plans to meet quality, cost, and schedule commitments
• Developing and leading cross-functional teams to achieve program goals
• Partnering with program management, factory leadership, and other partners to drive operational excellence
• Communicating effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure program success
• Meeting financial commitments and driving business growth

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in precision / highly-regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Bachelors degree in a related discipline 
  • Technical experience in engineering, project management, industrial engineering, supply chain, and/or production planning and control or related.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization to build consensus, champion change, and deliver results.
  • Ability to achieve objectives through influence and indirect leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience and success leading an Integrated Project Team (IPT) or equivalent where success requires influence based leadership vs positional leadership.

Desired Skills

  • Production experience and leadership roles in the Archbald, Ocala, or Orlando factories.
  • OLDP, ELDP, or PMDP Graduate
  • Project management training or certification.
  • Aerospace and Defense production experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma green belt or black belt.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 and other defense quality standards.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00
