In this role you will be the Control Account Manager (CAM) on the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) Hardware Team supporting Communication, Navigation and Identification (CNI) systems on F-16 aircraft. As a member of the F-16 CNI team, the selected candidate will be responsible for supporting activities associated with the development, integration, production and sustainment of the CNI subsystems for use on the F-16 aircraft.
As the F-16 CNI CAM, the selected candidate will be involved in a number of technical development efforts, BOEs, Proposal Development, Statement of Work development, task planning and resource-loading. The candidate will be required to provide monthly status reports against both internal and supplier control accounts in support of the EVMS Business Rhythm.
Specific responsibilities associated with this position will include supplier management, coordination with Cost / Schedule Integrators and other applicable stakeholders to process baseline change requests (BCRs / BLCRs), maintain the integrity of the control account budget baseline, establish and distribute cost segregation guidelines to track authorized tasks, analysis of affected control accounts, development of variance analysis and review and analysis of Estimates at Complete (EACs).
The position requires strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills to manage all aspects of subsystem development, requiring collaboration with multiple teams and technical and program status reporting to leadership and customer personnel. Individual must be self-motivated with outstanding organizational skills.
Standard Job Description:
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. Responsibilities include:
- Managing all cost, and schedule aspects of managed projects
- Working with the Program Team, Engineering Team, Control Account Managers, Subcontract Management, and the customer to coordinate deliveries and program requirements to ensure that contract commitments are met
- Supporting team tag-ups with Subcontract Manager, Program Manager, Execution Team leads, Director and Control Account Managers
- Helping coordinate action item closure
- Facilitating and coordinating the weekly schedule status meetings, EV reviews, monthly Program Cost and Schedule Reviews and the reporting of data and metrics
- Supporting the Risk Management process by helping identify, document, and manage contract risks and mitigation plans
Basic Qualifications
- Business/Finance or Engineering/STEM related degree with 5+ years of related experience
- CAM, Project Management, or related experience
- Earned Value Management (EVM) related experience & knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to develop a collaborative working environment across business units and with external customers/counterparts
Desired Skills
- Ability to manage new proposal activity to include hitting deadlines and entering BOEs for team.
- Knowledge of LM Aero Earned Value command media to include Earned Value processes, PPMP and PPMD.
- Knowledge of LM Aero cost segregation systems including SAP, and financial management toolsets including Empower (VARs, CEAC), APTs, and Finance Tool Box (Fit) Tool.
- Ability to coordinate Supplier discussions regarding Cost, Schedule, Variances, Performance, Risks and Opportunities.
- Familiarity with mission systems hardware prime teams
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00
