THE WORK
This dynamic and highly visible senior analyst position is to lead proposal activities within the Radars, Electronic Warfare, and Acoustic Systems market segment.

This position values a candidate who is a self-starter and can effectively organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
Candidates should possess strong leadership aptitude, have experience interfacing with all levels of senior leadership and be effective communicators across all organizational echelons with strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities in this role include:
-Develop, plan & schedule proposals in accordance with estimating policy, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) & Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) requirements, USG Bus. System Requirements & other gvt. regulations.
-Shape, develop & mature business case analyses & cost methods resulting in a comprehensive bid/price strategy.
-Develop initiatives to increase profitability and cash flow.
-Act as the estimating lead on proposals compiling cost, schedule, and technical elements for development proposals in accordance with Request for Proposal (RFP) specifications.
-Coordinate the collection of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments.
-Perform financial modeling and analysis related to major proposals, including rate studies, business case development, cash flow analysis, and NPV & IRR, and presents findings and recommendations to leadership.
-Research and analyze historical data, develop cost models to support proposal efforts, and determine accuracy of functional estimates.
-Participate in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and other reps.
-Participate as a member of the contract negotiating team and interact with DCAA/other audit agencies.
-Initiates process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency within pricing and estimating function.

Basic Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree from an accredited school
-Experience using proposal pricing systems such as ProPricer or genBOE
-Familiarity or experience with FAR, Part 15 Proposal requirements
-Experience coordinating complex estimates with changing requirements

Desired Skills

-Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly recognize risk elements and apply analytical thinking and problem solving
-Familiarity with LM rate structures
-Familiarity with SEMS product lines or development/production proposals
-Clear understanding of estimating compliance (internal and government), experience supporting proposals, and experience negotiating proposals.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
