You will be the Staff Quality Auditor for the Quality Assurance Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and driving continuous improvement across Missiles & Fire Control operations.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Staff Quality Auditor you will be responsible for leading internal and external audits, assessing risks, and guiding corrective actions to uphold the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Develop audit scopes, objectives, and work plans; lead audits of Missiles & Fire Control sites. 

- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

- Manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) using causal analysis tools.

- Prepare and present detailed audit reports with non‑conformities and recommendations.

- Facilitate Management Review meetings and monitor QMS performance metrics.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in STEM Field equivelant combined education/experience
  • Knowledge of a quality systems
  • Extensive knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 standards.
  • Experience with AS9100 certification and/or surveillance audits.

Desired Skills

  • Audit and/or Industry Certifications: ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), AS9100 Certified Lead Auditor, Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
  • Experience leading certification and/or surveillance audits Experience within Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related technical field and industry with a proven history of delivering results.
  • Working knowledge of audit methodologies and professional guidelines (e.g., IIA Standards, ISO 19011) and experience developing audit scopes, work‑plans, and risk assessments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage Corrective‑and‑Preventive Action (CAPA) processes and use root‑cause analysis tools (5 Why, Fishbone, Failure‑Mode‑Effect‑Analysis, etc.).
  • Experience with formal Customer Corrective Action Request (ie: GCAR) processing and tools (QMS Examiner), &  MES Systems \ Nonconformance Management (SAP, Apriso)
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills; capable of preparing clear, concise audit reports and presenting findings to senior leadership.
  • Solution focused: Provide helpful, timely leadership and guidance to drive solutions
  • Ability to establish effective partnerships with functional, program, and site leadership

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $89100.00 - $165500.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
