Standard Job Description

Supports development of quality plans and procedures in accordance with customer requirements for both make and buy items. Ensures the conformance to company and regulatory standards. Initiates, reviews, analyzes and reports on quality-related data/metrics from production, service, supplier or process improvement activities and analyzes using statistical techniques. Interfaces as needed with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure process requirements are met. Supports the development of disposition and corrective actions for recurring product/process discrepancies for both make and buy items. Reviews completed assembly, process, test, mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical quality records to determine data accuracy, acceptability and completeness. Manages the quality records control process to assure adequate accountability and traceability. Develops and maintains governing procedures related to records control. Supports product acceptance and delivery per established process.

Basic Qualifications

 Experience analyzing data

• Experience reading and comprehending blueprints, engineering specifications and drawings, technical data and planning documents.

• Quality Process and Continuous Improvement knowledge

• Experience with data visualization tool(s) (i.e., Tableau, Business Objects, PowerBI, etc.)

• Data analytics experience

• Experience developing, monitoring and/or reporting metrics.

Desired Skills

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience

• 2+ years of aviation quality experience

• Experience in project management and use of project management tools

• Effective communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills

• Ability to adapt business processes into automated tools and perform specialized data investigations to support Root-Cause Corrective-Action (RCCA) efforts

• Experience briefing senior leaders

• Understanding of performance metric measures or Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reporting techniques a plus

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00
