Standard Job Description
You will be the Quality Engineer for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (LMMFC) team. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing precision‑engagement aerospace and defense systems, ensuring the highest level of quality for our customers.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, and procedures, and for partnering with design and production teams to deliver flawless products.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Review documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes.
Analyze and resolve process issues, driving corrective actions.
Lead program corrective‑action meetings and participate in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards.
Perform assessments and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Interface with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality‑related issues while applying lean initiatives for continuous improvement.

Security Clearance Requirement
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company‑sponsored interim secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a STEM related field or higher with 1+ year of experience or equivelant combined education/experience
-Ability to work independently and as a team player.
-Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
-This position requires the ability to obtain a secret clearance and must obtain an interim secret prior to start so therefore all candidates need to be US Citizens
Desired Skills
Bachelors degree in a STEM related field and 2+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
-Working knowledge of SAP.
-Working knowledge of GD&T, FMEAs, and Root Cause and Corrective Action processes.
-Experience in Six-Sigma green belt techniques and statistical process control methods.
-Discrete and/or Micro-electronics experience.
-J-STD-001/IPC-A-610 familiarization.
-ASQ CQE.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
