Plans, organizes, directs and reports on all supplier quality related activities such as raw materials, packaging materials, good manufacturing practices service providers, as well as contract manufacturers, and laboratories to assure fulfilment of contract, purchase order requirements. Ensure control of supplier nonconforming items, conduct analyses and monitor effectiveness of corrective actions. Translates engineering, manufacturing, and quality requirements. Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished product.
Collaborates with internal program quality, engineering, supply chain management, and manufacturing functions and external suppliers to ensure quality standards are in place. Monitors quality control activities and systems at supplier and subcontractor facilities and maintains feedback loops. Performs source surveillance audits, supplier assessments, and validation of special process audits and selection of sub-tier suppliers. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. Prepares, maintains and reviews procurement quality assurance procedures to assure compliance with customer and/or government requirements.
May be certified in lean and six-sigma. Coordinate with Supply Chain Management to ensure they are reviewing and updating all active Suppliers Subcontractors approvals per the Procurement Requirements. Review and approve or reject New Capability Requests for new Suppliers Subcontractors, check and challenge their accreditation certification. Visit suppliers as required for face-to-face engagement to support the job duties. (Note: On average, travel is approximately 25% but it is in short trips during the month. (e.g. One day at one supplier + Two days at another supplier on a different or the same week during a month.))
Basic Qualifications
- Familiar with Procure-to-Pay or SAP.
- Experience in one of the following disciplines: Quality Engineering, Systems Engineering, Materials Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proficient in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) & Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance to prior to start and ultimately obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Ability to travel approximately 25%.
- Must be a U.S Citizen.

- Project Leadership/Management experience
- Creating, developing visualization for, or using metrics
- Experience with tableau
- Technical Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience working with Global Supply Chain / Supply Chain Management
- Defect resolution through implementation of effective root cause corrective action.
- Quality Material Review Board (MRB) certification.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- Program Quality Engineering Experience
- Supplier Quality Engineering Experience
- Survey/Supplier Auditing Experience
- RCCA Certification
- ASQ Certification (CQE, CSQP, CMQ/OE, CSSGB, CSSBB, etc.)
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $106600.00 - $198000.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
