You will be the Quality Engineer Sr for the Quality Engineering Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring aerospace quality standards across Lockheed Martin sites and suppliers.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer Sr you will be responsible for leading production and post‑production quality efforts on the HIMARS program.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and root‑cause corrective actions.
- Manage implementation and execution of program quality requirements.
- Partner with program teams as Quality Lead across design, development, production, and mobilization phases.
- Conduct contract reviews and flow down quality requirements to suppliers.
- Schedule and perform quality audits and independent program reviews.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline from an accredited institution; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain secret clearance
- Experience applying Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) to mechanical and/or electrical designs, including interpretation of drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Experience with aerospace quality systems (AS9100 and/or ISO 9001), including creation and management of non‑conformance documentation, Material Review Board (MRB) authority, root‑cause analysis, and corrective‑action implementation
- Experience conducting first‑article inspections, critical‑design reviews, or supplier‑quality audits for mechanical/electrical assemblies, and generating associated performance metrics
- Proefficieint in cross-functional communication
Desired Skills
- STEM Degree at bachelors level or higher preferred
- Experience designing or reviewing aerospace mechannical and electrical hardware (e.g., printed wiring boards, wiring harnesses, connectors)
- Familiarity with J‑STD‑001 and IPC‑610/IPC‑620 standards for electronic assembly
- Working knowledge of the MFC 1LMX Apriso, SAP and Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) business systems
- ASQ Certification or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black-Belt certification
- Demonstrated leadership and customer‑relationship‑management abilities in a supplier‑facing environment
- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
