Lockheed Martin is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Associate Manager for a position in Grand Prairie, TX. The position will be in support of both HIMARS and M270 Launcher Programs, After Market Enterprises sustainment operations and development. The Quality professional will be responsible for the strategic leadership and perfomrance of several key areas of responsitlity, including overall Program Quality business process management, data analytics, continuous improvement, talent development, training and knowledge continuity.
The candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert in the area of quality engineering and as an advisor for the Quality team. This position requires that the candidate stay current with industry standards, and leverage technology into MFC.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Drive strategies resulting in contemporary and optimal business methods and practices for strengthing the Quality Management System and talent development and implement processes to optimize program execution while driving out risks.
- Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams to ensure quality standards are in place.
- Effectively communicate with both suppliers and the US Government Customer.
- Ability to influence outcomes.
- Establish Program Quality Management System that complies with customer requirements and government regulatory standards.
- Utilize quality methodologies and Missiles and FIre Control policies and procedures.
- Establish Performance Metrics and conducting data analysis to identify process improvements.
- Identifying solutions to complex problems with a focus on continual improvement practicies using tools like causal Analysis to drive effective Corrrective Action and Prevetative Action.
- Liason between program and the customer to ensure customer satisfaction and accomplishment of customer requiremetns.
- Develop talent to strengthen the organization.
- Manage budgets and staffing for areas of responsibility.
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
Basic Qualifications
- Technical Engineering degree at the bachelor level or above
- Must have an interim Secret Clearance and have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
- Knowledgeable of AS9100 standard and implementation of the Quality Management System
- Experienced as a team lead and facilitator
- Experience implementing material review boards and dispositioning non-conformances
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for the development of quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection and test of manufactured products
- Experience in making risk based data driven decisions
- Advanced understanding and experience in executing root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventative actions
- Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques
- Knowledge of configuration management and control processes
- Proficient skill level with the microsoft office suite
- Demonstrated presentation skills and comfort presenting information to upper level leadership
- Ability to travel
Desired Skills
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, product / performance specifications and other systems integration technical data
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black belt certification
- Special process Engineering experience
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and/or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)
- Experience with MRP/ERP software platforms
- Control Account Management (CAM) experience
- Proposal experience including Basis of Estimates (BOE)
- Experience working with a Governement customer in a sustainment environment
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
