The Opportunity

Provides support as aircraft Weapons System Operator, Flight Engineer, Navigator, Loadmaster or other defined aircrew position on company aircraft. Supports developmental, engineering and production flight tests to determine compliance with specification and operational suitability. Acts as instructor aircrew for training of aircrew during syllabus training flights and may conduct classroom training of customer aircrew. Provides support to demonstration flights with customers, government officials, or other personnel aboard to exhibit aircraft systems performance and capabilities. Provides aircrew input and support to developmental and engineering teams, training, customer support and marketing teams regarding aircrew interfaces. Provides engineering and pilot input to training, customer support and marketing team. Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.

  • Apply C-130J and Military Aircrew SME knowledge and advanced technical principles, techniques, theories and concepts to solutions, practice and training.
  • Review flying literature, safety reports and Service publications for updated information to be incorporated where appropriate.
  • Participate in Safety Investigation Board (SIB), Accident Investigation board (AIB), and Flying Evaluation Board (FEB) proceedings as directed.
  • Conduct evaluations to assess student’s competency
  • Provide targeted feedback and remedial instruction to students to ensure they meet the required operational standards

Basic Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of ADF loadmaster/aircrew training qualifications and currency requirements.

Demonstrated Skills & Experience

Previously qualified as an Australian Defence Force (ADF) Loadmaster (LM) and Loadmaster Instructor (LMI), in accordance with applicable ADF standing instructions and qualifications.

Previous Military (ADF) airborne Loadmaster Instructor experience.

Exceptional communication, presentation and facilitiation skills.
