The Opportunity:

Eligibility: Applicants must be Australian citizens and be eligible to obtain and maintain an active Australian Government Defence security clearance at the level required for the position.

The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes that ensure products, systems and services meet company, customer and regulatory requirements. The role provides quality expertise across programs, supports continuous improvement activities, investigates quality issues and drives corrective actions to improve quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality assurance guidance and support to project teams, engineering, manufacturing and business stakeholders to ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards.
• Develop, implement and maintain quality plans, processes and procedures, including supporting ISO9001:2015 compliance and program quality requirements.
• Conduct audits, inspections, assessments and quality reviews to identify risks, monitor compliance and improve process effectiveness.
• Investigate quality issues, analyse root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve outcomes.
• Support programs through bid, planning, delivery and sustainment phases by providing quality advice, reporting and assurance activities.
• Work with customers, suppliers, contractors and internal teams to resolve quality issues and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll bring:

• Demonstrated experience in a Quality Assurance role within a complex engineering, manufacturing or project environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, processes and compliance requirements, including ISO9001:2015.
• Experience developing quality plans, conducting audits and implementing corrective actions and process improvements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate quality requirements effectively.
• Lead Auditor qualification to ISO9001.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Quality or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.

As well as the above any experience in the following is highly desirable:

• Experience working within the Defence industry or other highly regulated environments.

• Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• Recognised business improvement certification.
• Experience working with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers and subcontractors in a complex program environment.
