Our Team, the Modeling and Simulation Contract for Framework and Tools (MASC-F) team, is constantly engineering, developing and integrating new capabilities for the U.S. Missile Defense System. MASC-F develops and sustains the simulation framework supporting the MDA's test needs.
The Work
Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Software Engineer. In this role, you will work in a collaborative environment, work to develop software capabilities for product implementation and demonstrate completed tasks. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of object oriented software development, Java/C++ or similar languages

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will need to utilize good communication skills and good organizational skills to facilitate collaboration across the many organizations necessary to accomplish challenging missions.
Standard Job Description
Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.
Basic Qualifications
• An Interim Secret Clearance is required for consideration or higher
• Proficiency with Java/C++ or similar language
• Experience with Docker or similar containerization tools
• Experience in a UNIX/Linux platform environment
• Experience utilizing configuration management tools in the development of software (e.g. Git/Gitlab/etc.).
Desired Skills
• Desire to work in team environment
• Experience with Web based development
• UI/UX Experience
• Experience with OSF
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $98100.00 - $182100.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
