The 1LMX ERP Production Operations IT Team is specifically transforming Lockheed Martin businesses using the latest SAP S/4HANA ERP systems to drive to a common set of streamlined processes and deliver results for our customers. Within this initiative, we are hiring an experienced SAP Developer to support our various scrum teams: Product Data Management Integration (PDMI), Transportation Management (TM), Logistics Execution (LE), Warehouse Management (WM), Inventory Management (IM), Production Planning (PP), Material Management (MM), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Global Trade Services (GTS), etc.

 

You will support the Plan-to-Stock Value Stream. Your responsibilities are based on a broad knowledge of IT and include, but are not limited to the following:

• Owning HOW data is being sent/received

• Supporting proof of concepts, ensuring proposed code changes are both feasible and sustainable while minimizing technical debt in all designs

• Supporting and subsequently executing software development scoping, sizing activities for identified RICEWF requirements

• Reviewing functional and technical specifications for quality, programmability and ensuring a scalable approach

• Working with middleware on how to optimally make multiple systems interface with one another using the best technical approach

• Collaborating with other Plan-To-Stock (PTS) IT developers with complex design decisions, product evaluations, or other technical obstacles

• Collaborating with partner technology teams to accomplish goals

 

Seeking a SAP Developer with a strong technical foundation and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions. With expertise in development objects that involves enhancements, forms, interfaces to support custom screen developments, custom table generations, RAP application to support development, BADI implementations etc., you're well-versed in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient

applications. You're a collaborative problem-solver who thrives in a team environment, and you're committed to staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends. This role requires approximately 25% travel for on-site events.

Basic Qualifications

• Proven SAP design and development experience in SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA systems

• Experience in MS/DM including development with API integration to external systems.

• Experience with large scale implementations

• Experience with ABAP Development

• Experience with SAP design and development

• Strong communication skills and ability to lead collaborative work

Desired Skills

  • S/4HANA embedded analytics and reporting using CDS analytical views, annotations, and KPI/query exposure
  • Extensibility framework knowledge: custom fields/logic, enhancement spots, BADIs, user exits, implicit/explicit enhancements
  • BRF+ for rules-driven decisions, validations, and workflow logic
  • Background processing: jobs, application logs, error handling/reprocessing frameworks
  • Master data governance and replication concepts, especially BP/customer/vendor/material-related data
  • Authorization concepts: CDS DCL, SU24/PFCG integration, authorization checks in ABAP/RAP
  • Debugging/performance: SAT/ST05, SQL Monitor, ATC, runtime analysis, CDS performance tuning
  • Transport/change management: ChaRM/SolMan, retrofit awareness, release sequencing
  • Testing skills: ABAP Unit, test doubles, OData testing, regression support
  • BTP integration awareness: SAP Integration Suite/CPI, destinations, cloud connector, side-by-side extensions
  • Fiori Elements annotations and metadata extensions, not just custom UI5

Pay Information

GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role. 

  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $101400.00 - $188200.00 
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $91200.00 - $169400.00 
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $81100.00 - $150500.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas–Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): $72900.00 - $135500.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Lufkin, TX; etc.
