Basic Qualifications
| • Experience developing software in any of the following languages: Java, C++, JavaScript, Python • Experience with application containerization (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Containerd) in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, OpenShift) • Experience working in an Agile development environment, using tools such as JIRA and Confluence • Experience with CI/CD - Deployment pipelines, automated build, and configuration tools (Gitlab, ArgoCD) • Must be a US Citizen; Must have a current Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. |
Desired Skills
| • Recent on-program experience as a technical lead (e.g., architecture design, technical research, project management, define/enforce code quality standards, etc.) • Development experience with any of the following programming languages: Java or Python • Recent on-program Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience (e.g., automation, incident management, monitoring, optimization, programming/scripting, metrics, security, etc.) • Development experience with Linux and shell scripting (e.g., bash) • Familiarity with the Space Domain • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at a professional level • Demonstrated ability to establish strong team relationships and deliver exceptional results • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery • Active TS/SCI security clearance #LMSpaceSoftwareEng #SpaceSecurity #SpaceNSS |
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $110300.00 - $204900.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
