You will be the Software Quality Engineer for the Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for pioneering high-performance air and missile defense, air-to-air, precision fires, close combat, sustainment, sensors, strike system, and energy storage solutions to support our warfighting and civilian customers.

As the Software Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products. Your expertise will play a critical role in driving the success of our programs, and you will have opportunities to work on a wide range of projects that impact national security. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing software quality processes and procedures
• Collaborating with development teams to identify and mitigate software risks
• Analyzing and resolving software quality issues
• Participating in program activities, including occasional travel to support customer needs

Basic Qualifications

• STEM degree at the bachelor level or above, or equivalent combined education/experience
• Experience in system/software dependencies, process flow and development methodologies
• Occasional travel is required to support program activities

• Must be eligible for Secret Security Clearance

Desired Skills

• Able to work independently in an environment with challenging requirements and dynamic schedules
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and resolve technical issues with multiple teams, suppliers, and customer
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams (developers, system engineers, testers, suppliers) to ensure they understand and follow prescribed quality and process controls
• Demonstrated experience performing evaluations of software processes and products
• Experience in test planning, processing, and nonconformance processing, including root cause analysis and corrective action development
• Experience in establishing quality assurance performance metrics for identifying process improvement
• Experience with US Military customers and/or other government customer support organizations
• Experience working with defense subcontractors and suppliers
• Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt)
• Root Cause Analysis methodologies and development of Corrective Action Plans
• Knowledge of Industry recognized Quality Systems / Models such as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI), QMS System Audit (AS9100, ISO9001)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
