Standard Job Description
The primary responsibility of this position is to act as the Scrum Master for Aero Classified IT teams delivering IT infrastructure and IT platform software. In addition to core Scrum duties, the role also encompasses broader project‑engineering responsibilities to ensure successful end‑to‑end delivery.
Project‑Engineering Duties
- Project Coordination & Planning: Define schedules, milestones, and deliverable dependencies across multiple streams.
- Resource Integration: Align internal and external resources (engineering, security, IT ops, etc.) to meet project needs.
- Risk, Quality & Cost Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; enforce quality gates; monitor budget adherence.
- Technical Standards Alignment: Ensure the correct technical guidance is applied in project planning to result in a compliant, functional solution.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide status updates and ensure expectations are aligned with business objectives.

- Building High‑performing, self‑organizing Agile teams that adhere to technical and business standards.
- Transparent risk and cost oversight, leading to predictable project outcomes.
Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in project engineering or a comparable technical role, with at least 3 years acting as Scrum Master for medium‑to‑large Agile teams.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent; additional Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe, PMI‑ACP) preferred.
- Proven ability to collaborate with Product Management—experience shaping roadmaps, writing user stories, and prioritizing features.
- Strong analytical skill set: comfortable interpreting data, conducting root‑cause analysis, and making data‑driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills with multi-disciplined engineering teams.
- Experience developing and managing project/program schedules (Microsoft Project, Open Plan, or similar)
- Experience with Jira, Agile Hive
- Experience with scaled agile - team of teams / scrum of scrums
Desired Skills
- Prior experience with IT for classified
- Prior experience with IT platform development for classified
- Familiarity with PL-3 networks and their operation
- Scrum experience across multiple organizations
- Experience with agile under waterfall, and transition of projects from agile to waterfall and vice versa
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
