THE WORK

  • Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
  • May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.
  • Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
  • On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.
  • May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 5 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), particularly with Production Operations and Program Offices
  • Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments
  • Experience in applications of learning curves and capacity/manpower planning

Desired Skills

  • Aircraft Production, Maintenance, Modification, Repair and/or Overhaul Experience
  • Knowledge Work Measurements and Time Standards, Productivity and Performance management, Capacity Analysis, Cost Analysis and Estimating.
  • Greenbelt Certified -experience leading process improvement activities
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), an understanding of Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Cost Performance Index (CPI)
  • Experience with Excel Macros, Structured Query Language (SQL), Tableau, Alteryx
  • Experience with Systems, Applications and Products (SAP)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00

Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer.

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
