WHO YOU ARE
Lockheed Martin RMS‑Sikorsky’s Facilities Machine Repair team is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Maintenance Planner to coordinate, schedule, and optimize maintenance activities for CNC machinery and production equipment systems. This role serves as the critical link between maintenance strategy and execution, ensuring that work is planned, resources are allocated efficiently, and downtime is minimized while adhering to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate leverages data-driven planning, CMMS proficiency, and cross-functional collaboration to support reliable, continuous operations.
• Coordinate with site maintenance teams to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions utilizing predictive maintenance technologies
• Work with various computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) platforms to analyze facility maintenance metrics/key performance indicators to determine improvement opportunities
• Train maintenance personnel on prioritizing and optimizing preventive maintenance tasks and schedules and assist sites in developing roadmaps for departmental improvement
• Develop machine condition and risk assessment techniques to reduce risk and cost of failure and impact to critical operations

Basic Qualifications
- Background in maintenance of high-value, critical infrastructure and equipment.
- Deep knowledge of operation and interaction of various equipment systems and assets to include mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Obtain and organize all information required for the crafts to perform the work: drawings, vendor manual, supplemental instructional materials, special procedures, and other file material which is appropriate. Supplement this information by preparing any additional sketches, drawings, diagrams, notes, or any instructional material which will clarify the work to be performed.
- Review work request for accuracy and clarity: clear scope of work, realistic completion date, proper lead times, correct equipment identification, proper charge number (if applicable), proper authorization, and discuss details with originator of the work order.
- Experience in change management and process improvement with the ability to drive results using Lean/Six Sigma principles.
Desired Skills
• Working experience in a high-criticality maintenance environment, especially aerospace and defense
• Engineering bachelor’s degree or extensive engineering/maintenance related experience
• Extensive knowledge of CMMS administration (LM Buildings preferred)
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Project management experience
• Predictive maintenance certifications
• Lean/Six Sigma green belt or black belt
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
