The MPM is embedded in a designated Product Center and serves as the single point of contact for all program‑wide cost, schedule, quality, risk, and change‑control activities. The role merges the strategic, financial, and operational duties of a Manufacturing Program Manager with the earned‑value reporting, financial‑accountability, and change‑control responsibilities of a Control‑Account Manager (CAM).

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Integration – Align and coordinate the Production Build Plan with Operations; ensure all manufacturing plans are developed, maintained, and executed on schedule and within budget.
  • Strategic Translation – Convert Product Center strategy into forecasting, resource allocation, and emerging earned‑value (EV) tracking for the CH‑53K program.
  • Financial & Schedule Ownership – Serve as the CAM for the Product Center, providing full financial accountability through EV reporting, variance analysis (EAC/ETC), and monthly status updates. Maintain the cost‑performance baseline.
  • Performance Metrics – Track and drive key indicators such as Performance Index (PI) and Hours Per Unit (HPU); ensure on‑time completion and support affordability goals.
  • Reporting & Liaison – Produce regular earned‑value/financial reports and coordinate with Program Management, Operations Finance, Program Finance, Quality Assurance, Industrial Engineering, and other stakeholders.
  • Risk & Opportunity Management – Maintain a risk register for the Product Center, identify, assess, and implement mitigation actions tied to the CH‑53K program.
  • Performance‑Based Payments – Manage, track, and communicate PBPs where applicable.
  • Quality Coordination – Partner with Quality to oversee scrap‑rework‑repair (SRR) activities and drive Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs).
  • Affordability Leadership – Own the center’s affordability initiatives, including Cost Reduction Initiatives (CRIs); translate outcomes into the program’s Estimate at Complete (EAC).
  • Stakeholder Interface – Act as the primary operations liaison between the Product Center and key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment across the program.

Basic Qualifications

  • Ddetail-oriented, proactive professional with a strong background in program operations, logistics, or supply chain management. 
  • Experience in industrial enrineering, supply chain, program management, and/or operations.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams and with customers.
  • The ability to analyze data and drive process improvements to optimize delivery performance.

Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00
