THE WORK
- Follow general instructions, recognized methods, standard practices, and operation sheets to set-up and perform routing, drilling, milling, forming, blanking, nesting, and riveting operations.
- Use standard and prescribed machine tools, dies, fixtures, cutters, and attachments to set-up for machining operations, both manual and tape. Load, stack, position, and align material and properly secure for machining operations.
- Adjust drill, riveting, and routing heads to standard settings to assure proper clearance of tooling heads and for drilling, riveting and routing depths.
- Inspect first piece for conformance to specifications and adjust as necessary.
- Detect problems and machine malfunctions such as broken tool, low coolant level, inoperative chip filter, jammed material and the need for replacement of worn, dull or faulty tools, etc.
- Interpret displayed and printed instructions to return machining operation to exact program location when restarting interrupted cycle.
- Operate more than one machine at a time as work load permits.
- Check work to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Perform daily and periodic cleaning of tools to insure proper utilization of equipment.
- Document work as required to complete job assignment.
- Perform other duties of a related or similar nature, as directed.
- Follow all rules and regulations pertaining to environmental health and safety; contribute to the overall effectiveness of equipment by performing operator-required upkeep; segregate waste material and follow good housekeeping practices.
- Refer only unusual conditions to working leader or supervisor.

Basic Qualifications
- Require H.S. diploma and/or equivalent degree.
- Require 0 - 1+ years' experience.
- Work from ordinary drawings and sketches and use variable measuring instruments such as micrometers and Vernier gages.
Desired Skills
- Previous N/C machining experience preferred

- $37.87 - $40.79

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
