Standard Job Description
You will be the Aeronautical Engineering Manager for the Structures Design team which is responsible for supporting the C130 digitization effort. This effort includes reviewing 3D models provided by a supplier to ensure accuracy and completeness. The detail part and assembly models will be reviewed and validated in Catia V5 for accuracy and to perform clash analysis.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Aeronautical Engineering Manager you will be responsible for assigning work scope, managing a supplier, managing priorities, metrics reporting, and resources (both direct LM and contractor).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the C130 digitization efforts for the AMMM Airframe Design team
- Responsible for coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
- Primary point of contact for the contractor team to ensure quality and quantity of supplied engineers in alignment with the Statement of Work
Basic Qualifications
-- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Mechanical, Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering
-- Management or Team Lead Experience
-- Experience with airframe design/development, production support and sustainment support.
-- Experience with Catia V5, NX/Teamcenter or similar PLM/CAD toolset
Desired Skills
-- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-- Familiarity with legacy aircraft platform drawings, tools, and processes
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00
