Lead the development of supplier statements of work and terms and conditions for the procurement of professional services in support of Aeronautics' facilities and operations. Issue Requests for Proposal packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develop offer evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommendubcontractors, write subcontract packages for review, prepare awards and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiate modifications to subcontracts. Execute supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.

Manage supplier relationships and deliverables.

Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS).

Integrate with other departments to achieve customer objectives.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors Degree

Experience in supply chain management, procurement or purchasing. 

Experience issuing request for proposals (RFP/RFQ), analyzing bids (supplier proposals), and supplier negotiations.

Experience in SAP

Experience with Microsoft Office suite: Outlook; Word; Excel; and PowerPoint

Desired Skills

Experience with professional services acquisitions
Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS)
Experience collaborating cross-functionally, building consensus and shaping/influencing opinion
Strong Problem solving skills
Self-motivated and demonstrated sense of urgency
Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) skills

 

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $67400.00 - $125200.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
