We are seeking a dynamic, results‑driven Subcontract Manager to lead the end‑to‑end execution of high‑value, complex purchase orders within a secure, classified environment. In this pivotal role, you will orchestrate the full life‑cycle of subcontracting actions—from precise requirement capture and meticulous sourcing strategy development to the assembly, negotiation, and placement of multimillion‑dollar contracts that underpin mission‑critical programs.
What you will be doing? You will serve as the primary liaison between internal engineering, program management, and external supplier networks, ensuring every subcontract aligns with stringent compliance, cost‑control, and schedule objectives. The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of advanced procurement experience on aerospace or defense programs, a proven track record of managing large, technically intricate procurements, and a Secret clearance. Basic Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship with an active Secret security clearance
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in subcontract/contract management, preferably on aerospace, defense, or other high‑value, classified programs.
- Demonstrated track record of assembling and placing multimillion‑dollar purchase orders for complex, technically intensive systems.
- Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other applicable classified procurement policies.
- Proven ability to interpret technical specifications, develop sourcing strategies, and negotiate favorable terms with Tier‑1 suppliers.
- Excellent analytical and risk‑assessment skills with a focus on cost control, schedule adherence, and compliance.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, capable of interfacing with engineering, program management, legal, and senior leadership.
- Proficiency with procurement/contract management tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, SharePoint) and standard office software (MS Office, Excel).
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, highly classified environment, maintaining strict information security and confidentiality standards.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
