Your Mission is Ours. 

As an intern with Lockheed Martin Space in Sunnyvale, CA for the summer of 2027, you will be expected to perform assignments in our technical/engineering organization. Specifically for this requisition, the internship will include elements of Program Integration (tasks that support Program Management analysis and decision making) and Systems Engineering (tasks that analyze and control our technical baseline) with opportunity to explore other functions as program needs are identified. 

Basic Qualifications

Enrolled in a engineering discipline such as engineering management, project management, systems engineering, or related.

Analytical skills to follow and understand relationships of hardware and software systems.

Must be a US Citizen, eligible for a government security clearance.

Desired Skills

Excellent communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members, customers, and leadership.

Proficient in complex problem solving requiring multidisciplinary thinking.

Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment. 

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. 

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $33.51 - $38.71

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
