Standard Job Description
Lockheed Martin Space in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a full-time Printed Circuit Board Laboratory Analyst. In this role, you will support Lockheed Martin Space programs with required testing on bare printed circuit boards and PCB coupons to assess workmanship quality with comprehensive use of acceptance criteria for assessing structural integrity. The successful candidate will have training and experience and/or knowledge of materials, test methods, and test equipment. This analyst will work as a team member in the PMP Lab PCB evaluation group. Must be a US Citizen.
Analyzes chemicals, materials, parts, and lab samples to ensure compliance with engineering requirements. Creates testing programs and evaluates results to assess subject performance to standards. Consults with engineering and customers, interprets requirements to recommend and apply testing methodology. Performs both quantitative and qualitative testing requiring operational knowledge of a variety of laboratory instruments and equipment. Applies techniques and procedures to develop and create prototype hardware. Operates laboratory equipment using established procedures and may develop new methods or techniques. Interprets test results to determine performance to specifications and standards, identify anomalies, and may inform or develop process for production and Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.
Basic Qualifications
- Associates degree in related discipline or equivalent experience, and/or technical training
- IPC-A-600 familiarity
- Experience or coursework in a laboratory environment working with PWBs
- Familiarity with MS Office tools
Desired Skills
- IPC-A-600 Acceptability of Printed Boards Training and Certification, Certified IPC Specialist (CIS), with Knowledge and Workmanship Modules as follows: #2 Externally Observable Characteristics, #3 Internally Observable Characteristics, and #4 Miscellaneous and Cleanliness.
- Experience with IPC-6012, IPC-6013, and familiarity with similar industry standards to include applicable space addendums
- Ability to read and understand part drawings and PCB coupon maps
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $61900.00 - $114900.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
