Basic Qualifications
Skill Requirements:
• Broad technical skills such as rigid body dynamics,
control theory, and/or computer programming.
• Proven experience using MATLAB and/or Simulink
for simulation and analysis of feedback control
systems, closed loop guidance, or navigation
algorithms.
• C/C++ programming experience
• Demonstrate strong math skills in the areas of
linear algebra, matrix math, statistics, trigonometry,
and/or coordinate transformation.
• Ability to clearly document analysis results in
presentation slides and engineering memos
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team
environment.
Desired Skills
• Experience with simulations and physics-based
modeling
• Experience with state estimation and navigation
algorithms, including Extended Kalman Filters
• Experience with kinematics using Euler Angles and
Quaternions
• Experience with autopilot design and linear stability
analysis
• Familiarity or experience with missile defense
systems or fire control
• Experience with C++ development and Gitlab
• Experience with FORTRAN and 6DOF simulations
• Experience with model based software
development using Simulink (autocoding)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability as a team player to build
consensus among peers and build effective
relationships with team members.
• Demonstrated communication skills with the ability
to articulate complex technical issues to peers,
management, subcontractors and customers.
• Familiarity with agile software development
• Distributed/parallel processing
• Possess a Secret clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $101400.00 - $188200.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
