In this role, you will support the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Component New Business team focusing on proposal strategies and development for future efforts/contracts and acquisitions. This role will support Proposal Managers across THAAD contracts to evolve program needs into fully defined contractual projects with the U.S. Government. This involves the entire acquisition life cycle from pre-coordination, development of proposal estimates and negotiations with the customer.

Responsibilities will include:
· Coordinate with Stakeholders to develop inputs for proposals
· Create Basis of Estimates (BOEs) using genBOE and BOEPro for proposal submittals
· Understand and communicate Technical Baselines, Task Instructions, and Requests for Proposal requirements
· Effectively plan and support technical and schedule requirements while coordinating with multi-functional teams across multiple LM sites in a dynamic and multifaceted environment
· Develop and present summary and status details to Senior Leadership
· Efficiently manage several ongoing projects serving as a liaison between the technical, acquisition, program teams and stakeholders
· Maintain well-organized proposal databases and documents
· Travel as needed to support the program needs

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Basic Qualifications

· Experience with Request for Proposals (RFP) process and evaluation or equivalent parallel experience
· Experience as an interface or representative to customers/partners
· Ability to acquire a Secret clearance, therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required

Desired Skills

· Experience in project management, and/or new business processes and efforts
· Excellent organization, analytical, presentation, communications, and interpersonal skills

· Knowledge using Excel

· Experience addressing Senior Leadership

· Experience developing strategic process improvements
· Experience with government contracts
· Familiarity with missile and weapon elements, capabilities, and CONOPS
· Active Secret clearance

Pay Information

GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role. 

  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $88100.00 - $163700.00 
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $79300.00 - $147300.00 
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $70500.00 - $130900.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas–Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): $63400.00 - $117800.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Lufkin, TX; etc.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
