This Enterprise Operations (EO) position supports the Lockheed Martin Space division. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing support to the critical programs under the responsibility of the Space Division. This IT professional will ensure that the Lockheed Martin IT systems are managed, controlled, and compliant with the Corporate Information Protection Manuals (CIPM). This includes upgrades, operations and maintenance, hardware and software installations, and service requests (servers, workstations, containers, networking, and storage), continuity of operations (backups and verified restore capabilities).
 
In this position, the chosen candidate will utilize their system administration and architecture skills as primary IT support for several classified environments.

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems, and information technology related responsibilities including design, development, and analysis of computer systems or programs based on and related to user or system design specifications; applying systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Occasional after‑hours work, shift assignments, and on‑call responsibilities may be required.

Basic Qualifications

• Must have an Active Secret clearance

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Must have or be able to obtain a CompTIA Security+ certification or Higher DoD 8572 qualified certificate within the first 60 days of employment

• Direct work experience with Operating System life cycle management and configuration management (i.e., Installation/Upgrades, System Imaging, Account Management, Performance Monitoring, Ansible, etc.)

• Direct work experience using and administrating Unix or Linux Operating Systems

• Must have a solid understanding of Linux file permissions, and log-file troubleshooting tactics.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of Cyber Security requiremnts National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Security Content Automation Protocal (SCAP) Requirements

• Direct work experience interfacing with vulnerability management

• Direct work experience with scripting and automation (i.e., Ansible, Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)

• some knowledge of VMware and Windows server management

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $106600.00 - $198000.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
