What You Will Be Doing

As the Systems Architect you will be responsible for shaping learning the technical foundation that enables F‑22 operators to plan, maintain, and sustain their aircraft throughout its lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and evolve the vehicle and mission systems architecture to meet current and future warfighter requirements.
  • Implement open systems architecture .
  • Learn and apply technical guidance and principals to assigned work.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to design, test, and integrate capabilities for the F-22 aircraft.
  • Participate in the Systems Architecture Pipeline Training program.

Designs, develops and oversees system architectures, including complex systems and systems design activities. Serves as focal point for the development and communication of the system architecture. Ensures conversion of mission requirements into total systems solutions that account for design and technology maturity constraints of the system. Develops systems and system element architecture, design, and interface definition. Supports internal and external design reviews. Maintains knowledge of current and developing technologies and design and analysis methodologies. Develops models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (aerospace, computer, science, computer engineering, systems engineering, or other technical degree).
• Have fundamental knowledge of Systems Engineering, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and/or Computer systems.
• Experience with IT Equipment (Server, Storage and Network or Firewall Appliances).
• Ability to communicate technical information within team to identify, discuss, and resolve technical challenges.

Desired Skills

• Familiar with MBSE and modeling tools
• Possess an advanced technical degree (aerospace, computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering, or other technical degree).
• Previous F-22 experience.
• Technical knowledge of the F-22 baseline architecture.
• Strong practices with regulated configuration management level outputs.
• Ability to work independently, showing initiative and resourcefulness
• Time Management skills
• Working well under pressure
• Familiarity with DevSecOps principles• Be prepared to learn coding standards and software development best practices.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $81100.00 - $150500.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
