Rotary and Mission Systems' Training, Logistics and Simulation (TLS) business is Lockheed Martin’s center of excellence for training and logistics products and services, serving the U.S. military and more than 65 international customers around the world. Based in Orlando, TLS develops programs that teach service men and women skills to accomplish their most challenging missions — flying the world’s most advanced fighter aircraft, navigating ships and driving armored vehicles.
TLS is the corporation’s hub for simulation, X reality, live-virtual-constructive capabilities, advanced training devices and full-service training programs. TLS also provides sustainment services such as supply chain and logistics IT solutions, spares and repairs, as well as automated test and support equipment.
THE WORK
This is a position for a Systems IT Engineer on F35 Pilot Training Devices (PTD) as part of the Operational Baseline Integrated Product Team (IPT).
As a key member of our Systems Engineering team, you will:
• Perform hardware and software diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance on multiple IT components
• Manage system integrity, availability, and cyber compliance of networked systems
• Assist in the development of solutions across components of systems through design, integration, implementation and support
• Participate in phases of software and hardware development, leveraging our DevOps engineering processes and procedures while performing respective engineering activities
• Collaborate with other program personnel, participating in cross functional Agile teams
WHO WE ARE
The Pilot Training Devices (PTD) team creates flight simulators for the F35 fighter jet. The Operational Baseline Integrated Product Team is responsible for the infrastructure, third party software, and security policies across all our PTD products.

This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain an Interim Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin, as well as obtain a Special Access Program U.S. government security clearance within a reasonable time after starting the position. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.
A level 2 employee is typically early-career and has 1 to 2+ years of professional experience.
Note: This role will require domestic and international travel (up to 30%). Candidates will be asked to obtain a DoD IAT Level II certification within 3 months of their start date, if you do not already have a certification.

Basic Qualifications
• Linux Server Administration (RedHat or SLES)
experience or Windows Server and Desktop OS experience
Ability to maintain U.S Secret Clearance
U.S Citizenship Required
Desired Skills
• DoD IAT Level II certification (i.e. Sec+ CE)
• Experience in shell scripting to schedule and
automate processes
• Experience working with VMWare/ESXi, VSphere,
and Hyper-V for automated configuration/updates
• Experience with Ansible tools
• Experience with Excel, Agile, Atlassian tool suite
(JIRA/Confluence) and IBM Engineering Lifecycle
Management (ELM).
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
