As a key member of the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Digital Transformation organization, the Xcelerator Product Manager will be a servant leader responsible for managing the development of new products and capabilities. They will work closely with cross functional teams and other stakeholders to ensure that each new product and capability meets customer needs and is delivered in a timely fashion. The Xcelerator Product Manager will work closely with the Saber Solution Train, to align the work in the Xcelerator digital thread ecosystem. This highly visible role will require strengths in communication, leadership, problem-solving, research, and time management to guide and align the many teams within the Xcelerator Agile Release Train (ART), toward aligned outcomes.Working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment, the Product Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Understand customer needs — You will be the internal voice of the Functional Program Customers within the ART
- Reviewing customer feedback and data to determine potential improvements to products or processes
- Communicating with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure they have the information they need to make decisions
- Working with development teams to gather requirements for new features and products
- Working with the Solution Train to define "complete" and acceptable"
- Providing input on the program/Solution vision and roadmapWithin the context of the Solution train priorities, you will
- Manage and prioritize the flow of work in the program backlog, ensuring enough features are ready in the backlog at all times.Be an active participant and leader within PI
- Planning and Pre-PI Planning Events
- Work with System Architect/Engineering to understand technical scope of work required to allow for appropriate sequencing of workParticipate in and lead as required, demos and Inspect and Adapt (I&A) events.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience working in an Agile/SAFe environment
- Proven experience working across functions and Programs to deliver results
- Experience as a Solution Train Engineer, Release Train Engineer, Solution Train Manager or Product Owner/Product Manager desired
- Experience with JIRA and technical planning
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership, teams, and individual contributors
Desired Skills
- Certified in SAFe a plus
- Experience leading complex IT Systems Integration efforts
- Business Process Reengineering experience desired
- Experience managing across organizational boundaries
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Systems, Manufacturing Engineering Systems (MES)

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
