As the Theater Strike Weapon Systems (TSWS) Architecture, Requirements & Verification Manager teams, you will:

• Lead a high-powered team responsible for Weapon System architecture, requirements and verification scope for Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) and Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) programs.
• Manage engineering resources to evolve and maintain the system architecture in Cameo
• Manage engineering resources to plan and execute requirements development, maintenance and verification activities
• Manage and maintain requirement allocations and traceability for flow down from system to component level
• Lead team members to ensure verification and validation plans are defined, documented, and implemented
• Lead team members to manage and maintain the program DOORS infrastructure
• Ensure architecture models are consistent with and appropriately integrate with the Government Reference Architecture (GRA)
• Identify, implement, and champion Architecture, Requirements and Verification process improvements
• Provide guidance and support to all program engineers contributing to system architecture, requirements and verification activities
• Develop, maintain, and present metrics to status management and customer on architecture, requirements and verification management planning and execution progress
• Work with Control Account Manager (CAM) to develop, plan, track, and status progress on Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tasks.
• Provide inputs for contract proposals with Basis of Estimates (BOE)
• Manage team resources, maintain staffing forecasts, and hire engineering talent to support the full breadth of team scope and delivery commitments
• Establish and foster customer relationships to ensure the Architecture, Requirements and Verification team addresses customer needs on an LOE contract structure with dynamic priorities and challenging funding profiles.
• Grow leaders and mentor team members to cultivate the next generation of Systems Engineering talent

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in a technical leadership role, or formal technical management experience
• Experience in Missile or Space programs
• Relevant experience in systems architecture or modeling
• Relevant experience in requirements development and verification
• Active or Current Secret clearance required with eligibility to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance

• Full understanding of the interdependencies of the Systems Engineering “V”
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to build effective relationships across organizations, disciplines (electrical, , thermal, software) and with customers
• Demonstrated skills in team building and creating cohesive teams with entry level technical talent
• Hypersonic Strike Weapon Systems (HSWS) program experience and knowledge
• Prior successful management experience

• DOORS requirements management database tool familiarity
• Experience with MBSE tools and program integration
• Full understanding of Requirement traceability both upwards and downwards
• Demonstrated ability to create team cohesion across multiple organizations

• Active or Current DoD Top Secret Security clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
