Standard Job Description
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
- 5+ Years Experience in a Systems Engineering role that required the use of PowerShell, Python (RobotFramework/Ansible), Git, Nexus,Terraform/Packer, or DevOps automation tools.
- Experience working with VMWare for
automated configuration/updates.
Ability to produce engineering level
documentation for system implementation
Desired Skills
- Experience working in Training, Logistics
Systems, preferably in a lab environment - Experience with Excel, Agile, Atlassian tool
suite (JIRA/Confluence) and DOORs - Ability to work with cross-functional teams
(HW, SE, I&T) - Experience working Red Hat's Linux operating
system - Experience working with Docker containers
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
