You will be the Systems Engineer Senior for our Advanced Development Program (ADP), known as the historic Skunk Works.

As the Systems Engineer Senior you will be responsible for managing complex, concurrent assignments in a dynamic environment while supporting the broader team.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing multiple concurrent assignments in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
  • Working independently and proactively support teammates as needed.
  • Delivering results on strict timelines and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Developing integrated master plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Tracking key performance indicators for cost, schedule, and technical performance using Agile SAFe methodology.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

 

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited university in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical STEM degree.
  • Experience developing integrated master plans, schedules, or resource allocations
  • Experience tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for cost, schedule, or technical performance
  • Knowledge of Agile SAFe methodology
  • Past experience or coursework in Systems Engineering

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Atlassian toolset, particularly Jira and Confluence
  • Experience as Scrum Master or Product Owner in Agile Environment
  • Knowledge applying System Modeling Languages and frameworks (SysML, UML, DODAF, UPDM, or similar language)
  • Past Internship/Work Experience in a technically collaborative and team-based environment

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
