THE WORK

In this role, you will serve as the Systems Engineer Senior Staff responsible for the modernization, integration, development and Systems Engineering process for multiple obsolescence areas in the Naval Helicopter Programs (NHP) business area.  This role includes:

  • Drive engineers across discipline boundaries and ensure adherence to technical commitments and processes.
  • Drive the development and integration of equipment and functions on the MH60 platform.
  • Develop requirements and contract deliverables to define the system design and architecture.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with Avionic platforms Systems Integration and Test engineering life cycle including requirements development, system design, problem analysis and resolution.
  • Understanding of Lockheed Martin Development and Integration processes and practices
  • Experienced System Engineering Practitioner with experience in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR)
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Sciences with 12-14+ years of professional experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level.

Desired Skills

  • Masters degree
  • Demonstrated experience with large scale integration efforts
  • Knowledge of the MH-60R/S Avionics and Mission System Architecture
  • Familiarity with GPS Systems and integration of GPS systems on avionics platform.
  • Experience with major supplier management including Subcontract Deliverable Requirements List (SDRL) definition and review

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
