The Stinger Ground portfolio is looking for a mid-career Senior Systems Engineer to join a common ground systems engineering team supporting multiple satellite programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Define ground subsystem requirements, structures, behavior, interfaces, and data flows
- Contribute to design and model development by creating or refining SysML elements and diagrams in Cameo
- Contribute to development of system architecture deliverables
- Develop test and verification plan approaches
- Participate in design trade studies
- Participate in interface working groups to define and mature external interfaces
- Present at internal meetings and demos
Standard Job Description :-
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, a technical discipline, or a closely related field
- Prior work experience with systems engineering or software engineering for space or ground segments
- Prior work experience performing system engineering, integration and test, or analysis in a medium to large scale system
- Active and current TS/SCI clearance required. Must be a United States citizen
Desired Skills
- Experience performing systems engineering activities in the aerospace industry with a focus on space or ground segments
- Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and proficiency with SysML and Cameo
- Experience as a software developer or software-focused systems engineer or architect
- Experience with development phase design reviews including SRR, SDR, PDR, or CDR
- Experience with enterprise/system of systems design or integration
- Experience with agile development process, roles, and rhythms
- Demonstrated ability to work in self-directed manner, work independently, and leverage best practices
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00
