Standard Job Description
The Configuration Management Manager will lead the Systems Engineering CM Team for the F‑22 program, ensuring that all hardware, software, and associated documentation are accurately identified, controlled, tracked, and audited throughout the aircraft’s life‑cycle. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity of the aircraft’s configuration baseline, supporting production, sustainment, and upgrade initiatives while complying with DoD, and internal Lockheed Martin standards.
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with Configuration Management
- Experience working with cross functional teams
- Ability to obtain program access
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00
