Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. 

As the Electrical Systems Integration Manager, you will:

  • Lead a high-powered team responsible for Electrical Systems Integration and Hardware/Software Integration scope for Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) and Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) programs along with multiple IRADs.
  • Manage the Electrical Systems Integration team in a broad range of activities to ensure the technical integrity and successful delivery and fielding of the deployed weapon system.
  • Participate in the preparation and successful execution of technical reviews in support of capability enhancement and flight test milestones including System Requirements Reviews (SRR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), and Test Readiness Reviews (TRR).
  • Apply critical thinking to drive rigorous troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • Identify, implement, and champion Electrical Integration and Test process improvements
  • Establish and foster customer relationships to ensure the Electrical System Integration team addresses customer needs on an LOE contract structure with dynamic priorities and challenging funding profiles.

Grow leaders and mentor team members to cultivate the next generation of Systems Integration talent.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Understanding of System Integration and/or Systems Engineering principles and processes
  • Experience in electrical engineering or software development roles
  • Experience in an Engineering role on spacecraft, missile, or related systems
  • Experience in a technical role on government development programs, or equivalent
  • Eligibility to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance or higher

Desired Skills

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Leadership of technical teams to achieve program level objectives
  • Experience with missile system design, development, production, test, integration, and operation on military host platforms
  • Familiar with software and electrical design, integration, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Familiar with systems engineering processes, procedures, and tools
  • Experience contributing to successful completion of Engineering milestone reviews
  • Experience with testbed integration of vehicle/weapon systems, simulators, and support equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically, lead troubleshooting and root cause investigations, and resolve complex technical issues and challenges.
  • Ability to establish, manage, and communicate team expectations, goals, roles, responsibilities, and objectives
  • Demonstrated consistency with high ethical standards and conduct
  • Excellent communication and team building skills
  • Ability to maintain process discipline in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00
