Standard Job Description

This role consists of 50% Management of the SE Life Cycle Management team and 50% Technical Reponsibility on a Special Access Program

Technical Responsibilities-Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. 

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Physics or Computer Science

Experience executing across the entire Systems Engineering "V" lifecycle to include

  • Requirements Definition
  • Systems Design
  • Systems Integration
  • Verification and Validation
  • Risk and Opportunity Management
  • Systems Engineering Technical Reviews
  • Support Configuration Management
  • Decision Analysis and Resolution 
  • Cost Account Management

Minimum 10  years experience in engineering capacity.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface effectively with all levels of program management, the customer, other IPTs, and their managed team.
Supervisory duties will include process definition and compliance, staffing, performance management, training, and career planning for team members.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00
