As the Systems Engineering Senior Manager you will:

• Support the continued growth of the Mission SI&E–West organization by leading the systems integration and engineering on a portfolio of programs based in Boulder, Longmont, and Colorado Springs
• Have oversight for 3+ systems engineering managers and 60+ systems integrator and engineers deployed on multiple programs within the Mission SI&E directorate.
• Operate as both a technical and functional leader with a direct program technical role on some programs in the portfolio along with leadership and accountability for systems engineering personnel and scope on additional programs.
• Be a growth minded senior leader responsible for providing increased morale, training, career growth, performance management, and synergy for our engineering staff.
• Propagate systems engineering rigor, best practices, and lessons learned between programs and Lines of Business (LOB) activities.
• Will be a 1LMX champion on new programs/pursuits and strive to incorporate modernization and efficiency on existing programs where possible. 

 

Standard Job Description :-

 

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience as a leader of leaders
  • Strategic vision and organizational leadership experience
  • Cost Account Management (CAM) expertise
  • Satellite ground systems experience
  • Active and Current TS/SCI security clearance required. Thus US Citizenship is required

Desired Skills

  • Technical familiarity of the Mission SIE West programs, particularly the TTW/OPIR program portfolio
  • Program management fundamentals
  • Contracts, Proposal, ECP, and EPP experience
  • Agile Release Train Engineer (RTE) or Business Owner (BO) experience
  • Broad expertise across the systems engineering “V” model
  • Experience working with executives and senior customers
  • Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice​

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $178500.00 - $331500.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
