Standard Job Description

The Senior Engineering Aide provides critical technical and administrative support to the Electrical Test Engineering team. The aide gathers, formats, and compiles laboratory and material test results, tracks engineering design change data, and manages all test procedures and final test reports through a disciplined vault correspondence process. This process enforces, version‑control standards, and ensures that every document is migrated into Windchill for long‑term storage and traceability. In addition, the aide creates and updates engineering artifacts such as flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics, and prepares correspondence packages for internal and external stakeholders with leadership discretion.

A core responsibility is facilitating weekly test‑schedule planning with the Portfolio team, providing deconfliction and providing status updates. The aide also acts as the building coordinator which entails in tasks such as security and document‑control audits, tracks findings, and follows up on corrective actions while keeping all documentation in approved, access‑controlled repositories, inventory duties include regular physical counts, database updates, discrepancy reporting, coordination with supply‑chain for replacements or retirements, provide tours to customers and stakeholders when confliction of schedule exists. The engineering aide's duty is also to escort third party vendors into the closed area, provide suppliesd to the team.

Communication tasks encompass drafting meeting minutes, action‑item lists, and follow‑up messages, and serving as a reliable liaison between the test team and logistics, security, quality functions, document-control, technicians and other internal organizations.

Basic Qualifications

  1. Associates degree in any Engineering field or equivalent or combined education/experience
  2. Minimum of one year experience in engineering/technical support
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Lists, Power Automate, Sharepoint, Power Business Intelligience)
  4. Comprehension of Engineering Drawings
  5. Familiarity with Document Management Systems
  6. Knowledge of Windchill (EPDM)
  7. U S. citizen with an eligibility to obtain a Top‑Secret clearance.

  4. Exposure to coding (MATLAB/Python, etc) or data analysis tools to facilitate engineers with post test data products

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $48200.00 - $89400.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
