Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Support missile assembly and pack & ship operations.
- Fabricate, assemble, and test complex assemblies/subsystems into a missile.
- Inventory and inspect parts for compliance with work instructions and other documentation.
- Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- Align, fit, and assemble parts using hand tools and fixtures.
- Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve problems.
- Create and work in a team environment while implementing continuous process improvement.
- Follow strict safety protocols required to work on and around explosive devices.
- Perform routine area cleaning, general organization of shop floor, and any other collateral activity required as determined by management.
- Take work direction from production lead and training team members.
Basic Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly operations.
- Ability to perform detailed mechanical assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret complex assembly work instructions.
- Experience in the proper use of standard hand tools.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to navigate basic computer based functions.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and problem solve using multiple resources.
- Ability to perform mechanical/electrical assembly at a pace required to meet production schedule needs.
- Ability to work day or night shift onsite in Courtland, Alabama.
- Must be able to obtain a United States DOW Secret clearance.
Desired Skills
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, tables and charts, wiring lists, wiring connection lists.
- Usage and knowledge of multi-part adhesive mixing and bonding.
- Knowledge of test and measurement equipment (i.e., multi-meters, scales, or torque wrenches).
- Experience in using and understanding precise measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, T-gauges)
- Experience in large crane operations, lifting, handling, working as a lift team.
- Knowledge and experience in missile ground processing life cycle in preparation for launch/mission operations.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $41900.00 - $77700.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
